PRFC provides precision "Paper to CAD" conversion and CAD drafting services. Our precision CAD conversions include redrafting your hardcopy documents to produce 100% manually drafted electronic CAD files (Per request drawing can also be scanned or produced using autovectorization). We use AutoCAD (v 12, 13, 14, 2000) and Microstation (v 95, J) to produce full-scaled, layered CAD files. Our CAD operators and managers are highly skilled users of AutoCAD and Microstation software applications. We ensure CAD consistency of all CAD elements such as layers, colors and blocks, for all of its clients.

PRFC redraws archival drawings into electronic CAD files. Each original paper document is manually redrawn exactly as it appears on the original document to create a CAD file. Schematic designs and sketches created by your designers are easily transformed into CAD-ready construction documents. Simply send us your schematic details, sheet mock-up, layering standards, text styles, etc. and we will compile this data into CAD construction documents.

We manually redraw each original document into CAD by hand. Our CAD operators read the actual dimensions, bearings, distances and coordinates from the original documents to create a CAD file. Each file is layered using the AIA layering format or any custom format, where each layer represents specific building elements. We perform four levels of quality control for each converted document in order to guarantee 100% quality and accuracy.

To ensure the highest degree of quality and accuracy for each converted CAD file, four levels of QA are implemented. If errors are detected at any level, the file is returned to the original CAD operator for corrections. Once corrections have been made, the file then re-enters the Level 1 – Level 4 QA process again. Upon successfully passing each level of QA, the converted CAD file is distributed to the client.
